Security Officer Patrol Presence

The position of Security Officer Patrol Presence in Houston, TX is an unarmed patrol officer responsible for conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, discouraging security‑related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. This role supports daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as a collaborative team in an innovative environment.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun – 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology‑focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, document observations, and communicate with site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site protocols, ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
• Prepare clear incident reports, share updates during shift turnover, and assist with security‑related requests from site management.

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal histories considered consistently with applicable laws.
• Subject to drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state or local laws and regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
