** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and reporting details through appropriate channels.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including entrances, exits, sales floor areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter.

+ Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential theft concerns, and help to deter disruptive behavior through visible presence and professional interaction.

+ Document observations, incidents, and/or daily activities, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and when needed public law enforcement or emergency personnel.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
