Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team. The Security Specialist will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Houston office.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors
- Conduct regular security assessments and make recommendations for improvements
- Monitor and respond to security alarms and incidents
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and investigations
- Train staff on security procedures and protocols
- Coordinate with external security agencies and law enforcement as needed
- Conduct background checks on new employees and vendors
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks
- Stay up-to-date with security best practices and industry developments
- Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid or other assistance as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
- Knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Experience with access control systems and CCTV monitoring
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- CPR and first aid certification preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
