** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and government personnel by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and access control protocols.

+ Verify credentials, monitor entry and exit points, and authorize access in accordance with location requirements.

+ Maintain visitor logs, issue approved access badges, and report unauthorized access attempts and/or suspicious activity.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including performing emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned government facilities and perimeter areas, with working conditions varying by location.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.

+ Possess a valid armed guard card/license.

+ Possess a college degree.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
