What You'll Do:

Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities for a government location.
Monitor entry points, greet visitors, confirm identification and/or credentials, and direct authorized personnel and guests in accordance with front desk policies.
Answer phones, manage visitor logs, issue temporary badges or passes, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
Support daily front desk operations by communicating with staff, vendors, and the public, helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening and professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience is required, or a college degree is required.
An active DoD Confidential clearance is required.
A minimum of 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as military police, corrections officer, or armed security-related personnel is required, or the candidate must be a certified law enforcement graduate.
A minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience is required, or a minimum of 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience is required, or a minimum of 3 years of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A minimum of 5 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
