Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator
Location: Houston, TX
Pay: $20+ DOE / $22+ (Military Experience)
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented GSOC Operator to join our team in Houston, TX. This role requires an individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
The ideal candidate is computer-savvy, experienced in security operations, and capable of communicating clearly via phone and radio while monitoring and reporting security-related activities.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarm systems, in real time
- Identify, assess, and respond to security incidents and elevate as necessary
- Communicate clearly and effectively via phone and radio with internal teams and external partners
- Document and report incidents with accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintain situational awareness across multiple systems simultaneously
- Follow established protocols, procedures, and emergency response guidelines
- Provide timely updates and reports to supervisors and stakeholders
- Support overall GSOC operations with a high level of professionalism and urgency
- Experience:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or Corrections (preferred)
- Technical
Skills:- Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience using surveillance cameras and monitoring software preferred
- Core Competencies:
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a high-expectation environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to speak on the phone and radio while accurately documenting information
- Critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- High level of attention to detail and situational awareness
- Fast-paced GSOC setting requiring constant monitoring and communication
- High-performance expectations with multiple simultaneous responsibilities
- Collaborative team environment focused on safety and security
- Military experience (eligible for higher starting pay)
- Prior GSOC or security operations center experience
- Experience with incident reporting systems and dispatch tools
- Competitive hourly pay starting at $20+ DOE
- $22+ for candidates with military experience
