- Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and/or team members while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, requesting additional support when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas; report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to site leadership.
- Maintain required armed‑post qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site procedures.
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security‑related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
