As a Armed Security Officer Full Time- N Shepard Dr in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to retail location clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrol duties throughout the retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for employees, vendors, deliveries, and visitors.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
