Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Texas Level III in Houston, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and employees. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail grocery location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, report security-related concerns, and help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communications with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least five years of armed security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
