Job Overview

Plumbing Works of Houston LLC is hiring a seasoned Commercial Plumbing Field Superintendent to oversee field operations across multiple commercial job sites. Reporting to the Director of Operations and Project Executive, this leadership role is critical to ensuring that all plumbing work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Field Operations & Leadership
    • Supervise and coordinate foremen and field crews across multiple projects
    • Plan and sequence daily manpower, materials, and equipment
    • Monitor field productivity and proactively resolve issues
    • Set the standard for professionalism, workmanship, and accountability
  • Project Execution
    • Review drawings, specifications, and schedules for installation accuracy
    • Coordinate field operations with project managers, GCs, inspectors, and other trades
    • Identify constructability challenges and submit RFIs as needed
    • Ensure project quality control standards are consistently met
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations on all sites
    • Conduct regular safety meetings, site inspections, and toolbox talks
    • Ensure all crew members are trained and operating safely at all times
  • Communication & Documentation
    • Provide routine updates to project management and leadership
    • Assist with daily reporting, manpower tracking, and production forecasting
    • Support completion of punch lists, inspections, and project closeouts
Qualifications
  • Required
    • 7+ years of commercial plumbing experience with field leadership or superintendent experience
    • Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and installation best practices
    • Demonstrated ability to lead crews and manage multiple jobs simultaneously
    • Skilled in reading and interpreting construction documents
    • Valid Texas driver's license
  • Preferred
    • Journeyman or Master Plumber License
    • Experience managing large-scale or complex commercial projects
    • Familiarity with field technology, scheduling tools, and digital reporting
    • OSHA 30 Certification

Schedule
  • Full-Time:
    Monday to Friday
  • Overtime or weekend work as needed based on project requirements

  • Projects based in Houston, TX and surrounding areas
  • In-person, field-based role with occasional travel between job sites
