Service Technician – Heavy‑Duty Road Construction Equipment

An authorized Texas dealer of construction equipment is seeking a Service Technician to join our growing team. The company specializes in heavy‑duty machinery for soil stabilization, road reclamation, asphalt paving, slip forming, concrete pumping, compaction, and pavement maintenance. The Service Technician will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of advanced road construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic).
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, service, and modifications.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and provide high-quality service.
  • Complete work efficiently and in compliance with company standards.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of heavy construction equipment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic aptitude.
    • Ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics.
    • Proficient with hand and power tools.
    • Basic PC skills (MS Word, Excel).
  • Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs, stand/kneel for long periods, and work in confined spaces.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
    .

Other Details
