Epoxy Design Systems, Inc. (EDS), established in 1977 as a special trade contractor, with emphasis on repair, protection and strengthening of existing concrete structures in commercial, industrial and marine environments, is soliciting resumes for fulltime employment in the position of working field foreman.
Our work types include but are not limited to:
Concrete spall repair, shotcrete, carbon fiber strengthening (CFRP including anchor systems), water leak control by chemical grout, structural crack epoxy injection, roll and spray applied epoxy and urethane coatings on concrete, apply sealants, expansion joints, post tensioning repairs (removing & repairing), above and underwater pile jackets on docks, piers, wharfs, gravity & crib walls, spray on metalizing, form work, rebar placement, install different types waterproofing products, epoxy or cement grout of machinery bases, install fabricated steel support assemblies....Responsibilities:
Work with team members to provide safe and professional application of company services
Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
Implement company safety policies, conduct JSA and tool box discussions
Detailed understanding of proper surface preparation by water blast, abrasive blast, shot blast,Repair to concrete structures, with, chemicals used, their proper application methods and equipped with OSHA designated personal protection equipment
Must provide strong field management to crews of 3-10 people performing repairs, assuring work for accuracy and completeness in a safe manner.
Qualifications:
Must have verifiable minimum of three years in concrete repair industry and/or field
Working knowledge of production tools and equipment
Must have proficiency with Microsoft office systems.
TWIC credentials, HASC Basic Safety and OSHA 30 preferred
Fit test confined space and be able to pass specific safety requirements at facilities as may be required
References are required.
Employment contingent on successful completion of background screens and drug tests.
To the extent permitted by law, employees are subject to periodic random drug testing and post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing

Ability to read, understand and implement the use of plans and specifications
Efficient, safe and productive management of crew Communication skills to effectively work with engineers, clients and home office Manage time sheets, procurement of materials and equipment
High school degree or equivalent
Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
Reliable transportation
Valid drivers license
Access work from different levels of elevated structures (ladders, scaffold, swing stage)
Work hours are generally 40 hours per week with some overtime
Lift 100 pounds
Maintain safe and clean work area Observe and follow OSHA regulations and use proper PPEAbility to travel occasionally
