Job Description

Join a highly respected equipment service operation as a Diesel Mechanic-senior
, overseeing the shop’s daily operations. You’ll lead and support a team of technicians while conducting diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines, forklifts, and heavy equipment. This role is ideal for an experienced mechanic who thrives in a hands-on, leadership-driven environment and is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel engines and hydraulic systems
• Oversee shop operations and assist in training technicians
• Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain service records
• Operate and inspect heavy equipment to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards
• Use tools and diagnostic equipment to dismantle, reassemble, and test machinery

• Minimum 5 years of diesel mechanic experience
• Diesel Mechanic Certification required
• Working knowledge of DOT rules, hydraulic systems, and diesel diagnostics
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Strong safety record, team-oriented mindset, and reliable transportation
• Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends (average 45-hour work week)

The base pay range for this position is $18-$20 excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
