We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an exciting new venture from the ground level, where your skills and expertise will contribute to the success and growth of the company.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic systems and equipment following industry best practices and in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to identify electrical issues and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Use electrical hand and power tools, as well as testing equipment to complete installations, repairs, and upgrades efficiently and safely.
  • Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, modifications, and upgrades made to electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret engineering schematics to build wire control panels in accordance with UL508 standards, industry best practices and other specifications as required.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician, or comparable role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and ability to apply industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in using electrical hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Prior experience with wire crimping and stripping.
Physical Requirements
  • May be required to move up to 40 lbs.
  • Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include heat and humidity.
  • Noise level may be loud at times.
  • Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
