Diesel Technician - TX

The position is responsible for maintenance and repairs of diesel-powered equipment.

• Perform required inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment within planned time tolerance to maximize safety, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Perform FAI/CVI inspections on fleet equipment
• Perform quality maintenance repairs as required
• Address all Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write-ups timely and efficiently
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications
• Follow procedures including document all work performed on work orders
• Report safety issues immediately to management
• Other duties as assigned

• Minimum of two years experience as a diesel technician;
  Preferred:
  Three or more years of experience as a diesel technician
• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate degree or two years trade school in the field of diesel technician/mechanic preferred
