Responsibilities
- Perform inspection, repair, maintenance, calibration, and functional testing of oil and gas wireline tools.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using technical documentation, schematics, and diagnostic equipment.
- Assemble and disassemble wireline tools in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
- Conduct pre‑job and post‑job inspections to ensure tools meet operational and quality standards.
- Accurately document maintenance activities, test results, and repair records in accordance with company procedures.
- Utilize diagnostic software and electronic test equipment to verify tool performance.
- Assist in the development and updating of technical documentation and procedures where gaps are identified.
- Maintain and monitor spare parts inventory required for repairs, including identifying replenishment needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Adhere to all company quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and field personnel as required.
- May require extended hours or overtime based on operational needs.
Education and Training:
- High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
- Technical certification or advanced degree is a plus.
Technical Requirements:
- Experience working with mechanical and electrical tools.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electronic systems.
- Familiarity with common shop tools, including mechanical tools, electrical tools, and electronic test equipment (e.g., multimeters, power supplies).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete accurate documentation.
- Prior experience with oil and gas wireline tools.
- Experience using Warrior software.
- Experience working with high‑temperature wireline tools.
- Knowledge of downhole wireline tool systems and components.
- Previous experience in an oilfield service, wireline service, or equipment repair environment.
- Valid driver’s license with clear history required.
- Must possess the independent ability to work in the USA.
