The role at a glance- Service and repair fusion machinery across engines (gas/diesel), generators, electrical systems, and hydraulics
- Quality-check rental units prior to redeployment
- Document work performed and manage preventative maintenance schedules
- Evaluate customer equipment and produce repair quotes
- Partner with the maintenance coordinator and service advisors to communicate status and ETAs
- Report defects, damage, and operational issues
- Support fabrication shop equipment maintenance
- Prepare machines and accessories for shipment
- Use order entry systems, online catalogs, and email to source and track parts
- Leverage local suppliers and manufacturer websites to locate components
- Contribute to additional tasks as business needs evolve
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance or automotive repair (preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capability
- Commitment to quality and meeting deadlines; flexible to adjust hours as needed
- Ability to read and apply technical instructions
- Comfort working both independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills; automotive background is a plus
- Physical readiness: lift up to 50 lbs regularly; frequent standing and climbing
- Heavy equipment repair
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Tape measure reading
- Maintenance and repair skills
- Industrial electrical experience
- $25+/hour, DOE
