Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Liebherr Crane Mechanic to join our Audubon team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of mechanical experience, with a strong preference for hands-on experience working with Liebherr LR and LTM cranes. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and inspecting cranes to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Liebherr cranes and related equipment

* Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and implement effective solutions

* Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life

* Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and electrical components

* Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools

* Perform safety checks and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards

* Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs

* Help coordinate with operations and supervisors to schedule maintenance and repairs

* Respond to field service calls as needed

Qualifications

* Minimum of 5 years of mechanic experience (heavy equipment or crane experience required)

* Direct experience working with Liebherr LR and LTM cranes preferred

* Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems

* Ability to use diagnostic tools and software

* Proficient in reading technical manuals and schematics

* Valid driver's license with good MVR

* Ability to work independently and in a team environment

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

* Must be able to work overtime and travel when required

Physical Requirements

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

* Capable of working in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions

* Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces

Preferred Certifications

* OEM training or certification on Liebherr equipment

* NCCCO or other crane-related certifications (a plus)

Work Environment

* Field-based work and very little shop work

* Will require travel to job sites

* Exposure to noise, grease, and heavy machinery
