Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Tile/Stone Foreman role based in Greater Houston. The Tile/Stone Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of tile and stone installation projects, including managing project timelines, supervising team members, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met. Effective team leadership and problem-solving will be key aspects of this position.
You are required to travel between Austin and Houston.
- Proven Supervisory Skills, including the ability to manage teams and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Familiarity with Heavy Equipment operations and maintenance, relevant to construction and installation tasks.
- Strong Communication skills to coordinate with team members, clients, and subcontractors effectively.
- Experience in Carpentry and the assembly or installation of tile, stone, or similar materials.
- General Maintenance skills to oversee upkeep of tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction and installation industry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications or training in construction or management are advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Ability to perform layouts.
- Ability to run multiple projects
- Work with the project manager to setup project
- Manage field crews
- Administer quality control program
- Attend progress meetings
