Pay & Compensation$22 per hour, with paid drive time to travel into Rayville, LA. $350 per week per diem for food. Free lodging provided.
Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Responsibilities- Network equipment experience
- Cat6 termination
- Fiber knowledge
- Layout and install wireway, bus duct, cable tray, switches, receptacles and other devices
- Build closets (mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware)
- Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required
- Complete all IDC connections (e.g., terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels)
- Work inside and outside building out the data center
- Pull wire and oversee conduit installations and wire pulling
- Operate tools/equipment requiring two hands (e.g., cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.)
- Cable installation, structured cabling
- Cat5, Cat6, rack and stack, punchdown
- Cat6 termination
- Cabling, fiber optic
