Sheet Metal Technicians - Data Center & Hospital Projects - $100 Per Diem - Up to $35/hr - Houston, TX
Aerotek is seeking experienced Sheet Metal Technicians for immediate hire to work on large-scale industrial and commercial projects in Houston, Texas. These roles focus on installing ductwork and sheet metal in environments such as data centers and hospitals. Ideal candidates are skilled in HVAC system installation, blueprint reading, and are comfortable traveling for work. - At least 5 years of experience installing louvers, setting rooftop equipment, rigging, and installing ductwork and sheet metal
- Proven experience with curbs, hangers, and rooftop units
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain before starting
- Strong understanding of HVAC installation practices and standards
- Ownership and proficient use of essential hand tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel
- Ability to follow and uphold OSHA safety standards
- Journeyman card (preferred)
- Experience on industrial or commercial projects such as data centers and hospitals
- Experience with rigging rooftop equipment safely and efficiently
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed
- Capacity to travel to different project locations as required
