Heavy Duty Mechanics - Full-Time - Houston, BC
Lakes District Maintenance is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their team in Houston, BC. This permanent, full-time role offers the chance to work on a variety of heavy equipment in a scenic, outdoor environment. The ideal candidates are safety-focused, team-oriented, and eager to contribute to both challenging projects and the company’s strong community legacy.

- Minimum Grade 10 completion or equivalent formal education
- Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certificate of Qualification or approved equivalent
- Valid BC Class 5 license or higher with a Driver’s Abstract (no more than 6 demerits, no major infractions)
- Required tools for repairing light and heavy trucks
- Physical capability to lift 50–100 lbs.
- CVIP Inspection License or ability to obtain and perform CVIP inspections
- Computer experience related to documentation and equipment diagnostic systems
