Can earn an additional $700 bi‑weekly with efficiency bonuses
Needs to have or be able to obtain a valid Chauffers license
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers’ commercial tractors and trailers
- Write detailed work orders while working Mobile Road Calls and/or In Yard
- Provide quality customer service
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semi‑truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components
- Perform preventive maintenance on fleet semi‑trucks and trailers
- Maintain hubs and axles, and adjust or replace them when required
- Inspect, service, and replace tractor and trailer parts, including tires
- Check and repair brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Test all systems and equipment for performance issues
- Ensure that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation’s road safety requirements
- Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report findings to management
- Respond as soon as possible to client queries
- 5+ years of verified commercial tractor and trailer repair experience
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift 100+ pounds
- Basic computer skills to submit repairs for billing
- Follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks
- Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders
- Experience with welding; certification a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical school degree a plus
- Class A CDL

- M-F schedule with rotating on‑call

USD $30.00 – USD $45.00 /hr
