Job Summary

Freedom Power is looking for Residential Installers for national residential solar-based projects with experience in construction, electrical, or solar. The role involves installing 10kW to 1MW solar systems and is 90% travel (mostly four weeks out, with occasional weekend travel/work required). The position is based out of Houston, TX.

• Work with a team of installers on residential solar projects.
• Safely execute quality workmanship and complete work assignments on time.
• Ensure proper safety, quality, and attitude per all company policies.
• Maintain the mission, goals, and values of Freedom Solar Power.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

• Prior solar, construction, or electrical experience.
• Strong work history with career progression.

• 2+ years of experience in commercial solar installation, electrical, or construction; electrical coding experience strongly desired.
• Ability to lift, bend, squat, and haul 50+ lbs.
• Capability to work in hot climates.
• Introduction to commercial solar mechanical and electrical principles.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR to drive company vehicles.
• Willingness to travel weeks at a time across the US, 90% of the year.
