Portable Tool Repair Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled, self-motivated and detail-oriented Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic portable tools, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our clients. As a Repair Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment meets operational standards.

• Disassemble and assemble various tools by utilizing manufacture parts explosion documents.
• Perform repairs on various types of equipment, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
• Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and enhance service quality.
• Reassembles tools according to manufacturer specifications.
• Adheres to all applicable safety policies, procedures and standards.

To be successful in this position you should have a strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of tools applicable to the position and the desire to learn. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and must maintain effective working relationships with others is required for this position as well.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience with tear downs and assembly of various tools
• Basic knowledge of hand & shop tools
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs
• Successful completion of post offer background checks and drug screen
• Possess intermediate computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
