- Modern workshop facilities and equipment
- Undertake preventative maintenance, servicing, and inspections on heavy‑duty trucks and commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engine, electrical, transmission, braking, and mechanical faults.
- Carry out breakdown repairs both in the workshop and at customer locations.
- Complete service documentation, inspections, and repair reports.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic, Diesel Truck Technician, Fleet Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or similar.
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
- Experience working on Class 8 trucks, tractor units, trailers, or heavy commercial vehicles.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, electrical diagnostics, and driveline components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
