• Undertake preventative maintenance, servicing, and inspections on heavy‑duty trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engine, electrical, transmission, braking, and mechanical faults.
• Carry out breakdown repairs both in the workshop and at customer locations.
• Complete service documentation, inspections, and repair reports.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.

• Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic, Diesel Truck Technician, Fleet Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or similar.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience working on Class 8 trucks, tractor units, trailers, or heavy commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, electrical diagnostics, and driveline components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
