Structured Cabling Technician

Our client is a Texas-based electrical and low voltage contractor with more than four decades of experience delivering large-scale commercial projects across the state. What You'll Be Doing

• Install and route CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and fiber optic cabling in commercial environments

• Terminate copper and fiber, including patch panels, keystone jacks, and fiber connectors

• Test and certify cabling using appropriate testing equipment

• Build out MDF/IDF closets including racks, ladder tray, cable management, and grounding systems

• Read and follow blueprints, riser diagrams, and scope documents

• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and assist with system upgrades

• Maintain clean, organized, and code-compliant installations

What You Bring to the Table

• 2+ years of commercial structured cabling experience

• Experience with copper and fiber terminations

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation

• Ability to work flexible hours as project demands require
