Fleet Diesel Technicians

About the Role

We are seeking skilled Fleet Diesel Technicians to join our team in the Houston area. You will independently perform routine preventative maintenance, component replacements, and technical repairs on a diverse fleet of heavy‑duty diesel trucks, ensuring all vehicles remain in optimal operating condition. The position is available now on both 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) and 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM).

Salary: $40,000 – $97,760 per year
Work hours: 8 AM – 4 PM (1st shift) / 2 PM – 10:30 PM (2nd shift)
Education: High school diploma required

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on heavy‑duty diesel trucks.
• Conduct component replacements and technical repairs.
• Use electronic diagnostics and troubleshooting to address HVAC, mechanical, electrical, air brake and compressor issues.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure fleet compliance with safety regulations.

• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Experience with reefer/transport refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of EPA 609 and preventive maintenance procedures.
• HVAC and refrigeration skills.
• CNG system exposure.
• Air brake, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• CDL (preferred), ASE certifications (preferred).
• Experience with CNG systems (preferred).

• Minimum of 2 years of diesel truck experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience level:
  Experienced.
• Strong safety focus in fast‑paced fleet environments.
