Description:
Join a dynamic team as a Commercial Maintenance Technician, delivering essential maintenance services to commercial properties in Houston, TX.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals to apply their trade expertise in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and more. You'll be responsible for performing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Work Monday through Friday, with daytime hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
In this role, you will:
- Complete work orders efficiently, performing minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and repair building systems, fixtures, and grounds to ensure operational excellence.
- Conduct service and asset inspections, documenting service reports and safety compliance via mobile devices.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Use technology tools such as tablets and smartphones to document and report work progress.
- Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies, completing required safety training.
- Assist with estimating larger projects and supply procurement as needed.
Required Skills/Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, etc.) preferred.
- 2-3 years of general maintenance experience in commercial settings or related fields.
- Proficiency with handheld devices, MS Office (Word, Excel), and basic technology applications.
- Ability to read and interpret safety policies, maintenance instructions, and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
