Supervisor:
Paving Operations Manager. This entry‑level role supports the foreman and skilled crew in performing assigned duties under close supervision, progressing toward greater responsibility in paving operations.

• Dig, spread, and level dirt, sand, and gravel using hand tools.
• Lift, carry, and hold construction materials, tools, and supplies.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work area.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other materials using hand tools.
• Join, wrap, and seal sections of pipe.
• Perform routine non‑machine tasks such as removing forms, filling excavations, placing pipe sections in trench, and assembling pipe sections.
• Assist in machine tasks such as tapping soil, jack hammering, and fusing pipe.
• Follow all safety policies, report unsafe activities, and participate in proactive team efforts.
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  Less than a high school diploma.
• Experience:
  
  Preferred three or more years of related construction experience.
• Manual Dexterity:
  Sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers; ability to perceive attributes of objects and materials.
• Physical Activity Level: Heavy physical activity involving strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.
• Working Conditions:
  
  Outdoor exposure to changing weather conditions (rain, sun, snow, wind, etc.) and exposure to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, and loud noise.
