Job Responsibilities
- Lead by example and uphold quality, health & safety, security, and environmental protection as core values.
- Observe and follow all company safety rules and procedures.
- Support continuous improvement of safety programs and quality management systems.
- Assist in mobilization and demobilization of drilling rigs and/or cone trucks.
- Load drill pipe, drilling mud, casing, and equipment.
- Assist the driller/CPT operator in daily field/yard operations, including handling drill pipe, mixing drill mud, and operating other equipment.
- Drive equipment to and from job locations.
- Complete field assignments directed by supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with DOT and IFTA regulations.
Minimum of 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
- Good mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Current driver’s license with a clean record per company and DOT policies.
- Equipment‑oriented with understanding of drilling machinery mechanics.
- In good physical condition, able to work in all weather conditions and to wear appropriate health and safety equipment.
- Perform heavy work exerting up to 50 pounds of force constantly, or can move objects with minimal force.
- Handle outdoor work in undeveloped areas.
- Push a standard two‑handle construction wheelbarrow loaded with a typical concrete sample 40 feet.
- Tolerate changing and adverse weather conditions, dust, wind, wet, cold, or hot environments.
- Accept variable noise levels around equipment.
