Mechanic

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time General Mechanic to support fleets at two locations in Houston, TX & Porter, TX. The role involves performing a variety of tasks related to vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair, adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and Jorgensen Company policies and procedures. Employees must provide their own set of basic mechanic’s tools.

Full‑time General Mechanic responsible for maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment across multiple locations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

• 10 years of repair and maintenance experience with a variety of automotive and mechanical equipment.

• General Mechanic
• Vocational training and/or technical certificate or equivalent

• High School Diploma or GED
• Clean driving record (MVR) and ability to pass a criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
• Basic arithmetic skills
• Ability to use and maintain safety equipment required for each job
• Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
• Ability to use a smartphone and related applications
• Ability to adjust to changing work schedules and weather events
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency in operating hand and power tools
• Strong safety consciousness and clear understanding of equipment and safety procedures

Full time;
Monday–Friday with on‑call availability. Must be flexible and able to work during weather events.
