Responsibilities- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of up to 16 HVAC technicians and maintenance staff.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee HVAC maintenance, repairs, and preventive programs.
- Provide technical expertise for complex troubleshooting and system diagnostics.
- Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Coordinate projects and maintenance activities with internal departments and external contractors.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, and system performance.
- Manage tool and equipment inventory and ensure proper use of resources.
- Support energy efficiency and system improvement initiatives.
- Respond to after‑hours facility needs as required (no formal on‑call rotation).
- Foster a positive team environment built on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- 10+ years of HVAC experience, with at least 5 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade school certification preferred.
- EPA Universal Certification required; state HVAC license preferred.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, controls, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
1st shift schedule; occasional after‑hours response may be required. Work may be performed in both office and mechanical spaces, with exposure to noise, heat, and confined areas.
