Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic (traveling)

Field department in Houston, Texas. Salary range: $25 to $40 per hour. Job number:

Nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor (#3 in ENR) looking for a Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic. Travel will be required. This position can be based anywhere in the United States.

The daily work will include:

• Responsible for all phases of heavy construction equipment repair, maintenance, and overhaul

Minimum five years' prior work experience required on a variety of heavy construction equipment including excavators, bulldozers, off-road haulers, and loaders. Other job requirements include:

• Must have own tools
• Ability to rebuild diesel and gasoline engines a plus
• Must have valid driver's license
