A custom signage design and installation company is seeking a skilled craftsman to join our team at Terminal B of the IAH airport. The role involves reading blueprints and using a variety of hand and power tools to construct and install components, including electrical wiring, concrete drilling, bolting, and other installation work.

• Read and interpret plans and blueprints for installation projects.
• Use hand and power tools to complete construction tasks.
• Perform commercial electrical tasks, including wiring.
• Conduct core drilling, concrete drilling, and bolting.
• Hang unistrut and perform curtain wall installations.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals similar to installations found in theme parks.

• 5+ years of experience in installation or construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in electrical wiring and commercial electrical knowledge.
• Experience with hand and power tools, including hammer drills, chop saws, ratchets, core drills, band saws, and bolt tools.

• Unistrut hanging experience.
• Curtain wall installation experience.
• Skills in finish carpentry and drywall.
• Experience with metal stud and concrete work.
• Aircraft maintenance technician skills are translatable.

Work takes place in the newly constructed Terminal B in a controlled construction environment. You will collaborate with up to 10 crew members, 3 supervisors, and 1 project manager. The dress code requires steel‑toe boots, jeans, safety glasses, hard hats, and gloves. Standard working hours are from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays as needed. Flexibility in schedule may be required due to material delays.

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay range: $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
