LPG Rail Scheduler

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position LPG Rail Scheduler through 07/14/2026 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time zone.

• Schedule railcars to gather, transport, and deliver NGL/LPGs for Chevron's Upstream, Downstream and Trading businesses in North America
• Lead day‑to‑day railcar scheduling and operations including nominations, system balancing, and journey management
• Record all related purchase, sale and exchange activities in the trading and rail management systems
• Collaborate on and communicate operational costs, optimization initiatives, and best practice learning
• Collaborate with railroads, Rail Transportation & Operations team, and others to mitigate operational risk, prevent incidents, and respond to any incidents that may occur
• Partner with traders to manage physical inventory positions and recommend trade activity based on interactions with third parties

• Rail scheduling or fleet management experience
• On‑call availability for evening, weekend and holiday scheduling emergencies
• Team player and ability to work in fast‑paced environment
• Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Excellent communication and customer management

• Experience in the NGL/LPG commodity space
• Experience in a trading organization
• Railtrac, eBill or similar platform experience

Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters.
