The Remediation Tech is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Houston, responsible for supporting property maintenance and remediation activities across commercial sites. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with landscape care, exterior cleaning, minor building repairs, and structural protection work such as sealing, patching, and basic preventive maintenance. The role may involve remediation of minor environmental or structural issues, including water intrusion cleanup, debris removal, and supporting pest exclusion and safety measures.

The Remediation Tech will use hand tools and equipment, follow safety protocols, document work performed, and collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure each property meets Kennder’s quality standards. This role requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions, traveling between sites as needed, and maintaining a professional, customer-focused attitude.

• Hands-on property maintenance skills, including basic landscaping, exterior cleaning, and minor building repair abilities.
• Experience with remediation tasks such as water damage cleanup, debris removal, and assisting with pest exclusion or structural protection work.
• Comfort using common hand and power tools, equipment, and materials safely and effectively in an on-site commercial environment.
• Strong awareness of safety practices, including adherence to OSHA guidelines, use of PPE, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable transportation to multiple sites in Greater Houston and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or remediation is preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry materials, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks as part of daily work.
