Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced pipe layers with 1-2 years of commercial experience to help us on our various wastewater projects across Houston.

Pay Range: $20-22 per hour

• Workdays are Monday – Friday, starting at 6:00 AM, working 8-9 hours per day with overtime available at times
• Setting water pumps
• Running PVC pipes above ground
• Cut pipes to required length
• Align and position pipes to prepare them for sealing or joining
• Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers
• Connect pipe pieces and seal joints by either bolting, cement, or glue
• Tap and drill holes into pipes to introduce auxiliary lines or devices
• Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools
• Other general labor and construction duties as required
• Standing for prolonged periods
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching
• Pushing and pulling heavy objects
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds

• 1-2 years’ experience in construction
• 1 year of experience with pipe laying techniques
• Willing to submit to a drug screen
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Must have reliable transportation
• This position involves regular physical activity, including:
• Pipe Layer: 1 year (Required)
