Role Description The Master Electrician is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX, responsible for planning, installing, and maintaining electrical systems that support Enterprise Systems’ integrated IT and networking solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing advanced electrical work on commercial and industrial projects, ensuring proper power distribution to networking, voice, and security infrastructure, and conducting routine inspections to maintain safety and code compliance.

The role involves diagnosing electrical issues, coordinating repairs, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and technical staff to support system deployments and upgrades. The Master Electrician will read and interpret electrical schematics, supervise or mentor other electrical personnel as needed, and maintain accurate documentation of all work performed. This position requires strict adherence to safety standards and active participation in continuous improvement of electrical practices and processes.

• Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in electricity, including electrical theory, power distribution, and safety practices.
• Candidates should possess practical Electrical Work skills, including installation, wiring, panel work, and system commissioning for commercial and industrial environments.
• Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills, with the ability to perform preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, and system upgrades on electrical infrastructure.
• Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex electrical faults, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in time-sensitive environments.
• Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering-related skills, such as reading and interpreting schematics, understanding load calculations, and supporting system design and integration.
• Valid Master Electrician license in Texas, with comprehensive knowledge of NEC and local codes.
• Experience working in commercial or industrial settings, preferably supporting IT, networking, or data center environments.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
