Responsibilities- Install, terminate, and test low-voltage security cabling including coax, Cat5e/Cat6, and fiber optic lines
- Run and route cables through walls, ceilings, conduit, and other structures in residential and commercial settings
- Mount and connect security cameras, access control panels, alarm systems, and related hardware
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system schematics
- Troubleshoot and repair existing security cable infrastructure and system connections
- Coordinate with project managers and other technicians to ensure timely job completion
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with safety standards
- 1+ years of experience in low-voltage cabling, security systems, or structured wiring installation
- Familiarity with CCTV, access control, and intrusion alarm systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and cable testing equipment
- Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying environmental conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check as required for security industry work
