Installation Technician
Are you an experienced A/V Tech with a passion for high-end installations? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a premier audio/visual company and take your career to the next level.
Responsibilities- Work in various A/V projects across high-end homes.
- Lead your team in meeting deadlines and delivering quality work.
- Pull and terminate low-voltage cables (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, Cat7, Cat8, fiber optic, audio lines).
- Mount TVs, cameras, and wireless access points.
- Install speakers in various materials like sheetrock, plywood, and cement board.
- Set up and service network systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Keep track of tools and file reports on field activities.
- Occasionally work in attics and dig trenches for cable installations.
- Build and wire AV racks.
- Support customers after hours on an on-call rotation.
- Previous residential A/V installation experience.
- Current Alarm License with experience with Honeywell Vista.
- Savant, Control4 or Crestron programming skills (preferred).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid TX Driver's License, clear background check and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a PLUS!
- Monday-Friday.
- Daytime from morning until late afternoons.
- Full time.
- $25 - $28 per hour, depending on experience.
- Houston Metro Area.
