Utility Construction, Traffic Signal, CDL Drivers & Roadway Lighting, in Houston

Job Description

We are seeking a utility Traffic Signal, Roadway Construction skilled laborers and semi‑skilled laborers to become an integral part of our team. We have several projects in the Houston area and need knowledgeable and experienced persons. Aerial bucket truck operators, carpenters, utilities, plumbers, equipment operators and electricians are all welcome. Installation of aerial cables and underground pipe and cable will be performed.

Training is available for the right persons that do not have prior experience. Experience is compensated at competitive rates. Excellent company benefits, health insurance and a 401(k) plan are provided. Transportation to the job site from the Corpus Christi office is available.

• Assist in installation of roadway electrical and traffic signal systems
• Perform work with minimum supervision
• Dedicate to doing the work right the first time
• Take direction on daily duties
• Think on your own when circumstances require
• Operate equipment such as excavators, backhoes or bucket trucks
• Carpentry, plumbing and excavating experience is helpful but not required

• Equipment operator experience (excavators, backhoes, boring machines, skid steers) is helpful
• Prior experience in roadway lighting and/or traffic signals is not required
• Carpentry, plumbing and electrical skills are compensated
• Familiarity with roadway electrical installation or the ability to learn
• Current  driver’s license, class C, B or A
• Experience driving light to medium‑sized construction vehicles with trailers is helpful
• Good transportation to the job site
• Ability to work as a team
