Requirements:
- Three to five years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Experience maintaining high-speed manufacturing equipment preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480 volts
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, VFDs, and industrial controls
- Ability to independently troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs
- Familiarity with CMMS or electronic work-order systems
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns
- Ability to work collaboratively with production and maintenance team members
Job Duties:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and complete timely repairs
- Install, inspect, calibrate, and maintain industrial machinery
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, manuals, and mechanical drawings
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance assignments
- Document completed work in the CMMS or work-order system
- Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance parts
- Notify supervisors when replacement parts or supplies are needed
- Collaborate with production operators to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area
- Follow OSHA regulations and Lockout/Tagout safety procedures
- Assist with training production employees and new maintenance technicians as needed
