Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild pumps and related equipment
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble mechanical components
- Perform routine maintenance and testing to ensure equipment operates efficiently
- Identify worn or damaged parts and recommend repairs or replacements
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Assist with additional shop duties and projects as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous mechanical, pump repair, or industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Ability to read basic technical drawings or repair manuals preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independent and as part of a team
