Join JLL's Facilities Management team as a Maintenance Technician, where you'll serve as a vital resource in maintaining safe, functional, and efficient building operations. This hands‑on role places you at the heart of our client facilities, where your technical expertise and proactive maintenance approach directly impact occupant satisfaction and building performance. You'll be the go‑to professional for diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and plumbing items while ensuring our facilities operate at peak performance.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your technical skills in a dynamic environment while working with cutting‑edge building systems and technologies that support JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional facility management services.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance programs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair needs, troubleshooting issues efficiently and implementing effective solutions.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections to identify potential problems, safety hazards, and maintenance needs before they impact building operations.
  • Replace lighting fixtures, ballasts, and other building components as needed while maintaining energy efficiency standards.
  • Update work order status in real‑time using CMMS systems (WebTMA), ensuring accurate documentation and transparent communication with stakeholders.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas while adhering to all safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, facility managers, and clients to coordinate maintenance activities and promptly elevate issues requiring management attention.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in general building repair and maintenance, including hands‑on work with basic plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work from heights up to 15 feet using ladders and elevated platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with ability to interact professionally with building occupants and address concerns courteously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with WebTMA or similar computerized maintenance management software platforms.
  • Trade certifications or specialized training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related building systems.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for facility maintenance operations.
  • Familiarity with energy management systems and sustainable building operations practices.
  • Basic computer skills including email, mobile work order applications, and building automation systems.
  • Plumbing experience.

Schedule: 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday
