Yulista Solutions LLC Regular PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Aircraft Mechanic –performs a variety of simple to moderately complex tasks on airplane general, airframe and powerplant systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Perform maintenance on aircraft, including mechanical systems, and/or ground support equipment.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Repair, inspect and maintain structural, mechanical and electrical elements of the aircraft.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Knowledgeable in the use of and be able to train others in the use of a wide variety of diagnostics devices, computers, hand, and mechanical tools.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Provide oversight and have the ability to direct and train others in the completion of aircraft related maintenance tasks.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • May include Designated System Inspector (DSI) duties.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Troubleshoot systems as required to meet customer needs.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Document maintenance as per Quality Assurance (QA) and established regulatory requirements.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Perform regular Foreign Object Damage (FOD) walks.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Maintain tool control. Report missing, lost, found, or unattended tools to the supervisor.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Inventory and inspect tools on a regular basis and replace worn or broken tools.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Comply with safety rules and regulations while performing day to day maintenance.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Promptly report all accidents, injuries, safety violations, and/or unsafe practices or procedures to supervisor.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Use NASA’s automated maintenance data system (NAMIS) to maintain equipment records. Enter in the maintenance records description of the work performed and verify the work was performed satisfactorily.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • The Aircraft Mechanic may be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Assembles structural parts and components to meet requirements for preserving structural integrity.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Perform maintenance on aircraft, including avionics, mechanical systems, and/or ground support equipment.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Repair, inspect and maintain structural, mechanical and electrical elements of the aircraft.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Checks repairs for serviceability according to specifications and technical publications.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Knowledgeable in the use of and be able to train others in the use of a wide variety of computers, hand and mechanical tools.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Provide oversight and have the ability to direct and train others in the completion of aircraft related maintenance tasks.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Performs aircraft corrosion control to include washing, cleaning, corrosion detection, corrosion removal, metal treatment, and touch up painting.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • Provide oversight and have the ability to direct and train others in the completion of aircraft related maintenance tasks.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
    • May include Designated System Inspector (DSI) duties.
  • Aircraft Mechanic (SGT)
