Role Description The Electrical Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. This role oversees daily electrical construction activities, including planning and assigning work, supervising electricians and helpers, and ensuring installations meet project specifications, codes, and safety standards. The Electrical Foreman coordinates with project managers and other trades to maintain schedules, manage materials, and resolve on-site issues promptly. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting electrical plans, organizing tools and equipment, inspecting completed work, troubleshooting electrical systems, and maintaining accurate documentation of progress and incidents.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles relevant to commercial and residential construction.
  • Candidates should possess skills in electrical contracting, including planning, coordinating, and managing electrical projects and crews.
  • Candidates should possess hands‑on abilities in electrical wiring and installation of systems and components.
  • Candidates should possess effective troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues safely and efficiently.
  • Experience supervising electrical teams in construction environments and enforcing safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with NEC, local codes, and relevant industry standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or apprenticeship completion preferred.
  • Valid electrical license in Texas or the ability to obtain one as required for the role.
