Tire Technician I

As a Tire Technician I, you'll perform basic to mid-range diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and basic repairs and replacements. Key responsibilities and essential functions include: troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and replacement, operating with basic tooling, working in an apprentice-style environment, performing tire repairs, controlling tire inventory, delivering tires to tire banks, training others, and performing associate tire tech duties. Qualifications and key requirements include: 1+ years of related experience, ability to work in a team environment, HS diploma or GED or equivalent, obtain/maintain a third-party tire certification, obtain/maintain a CDL, and meet H-E-B driving qualifications. Physical demands and working conditions include lifting 100 lbs and carrying 5 feet, working while sitting, standing, stooping, bending, or in a prone position, working with hands over head, and climbing and working from a ladder.
