Qualifications Certifications (Preferred)- H2S Awareness
- Rig Pass or equivalent safety training
- First Aid/CPR
- OEM-specific robotic system training
- Robotic pipe handling systems (e.g., NOV, Huisman, Drillmec)
- SCADA/HMI interfaces
- Diagnostic software and telemetry systems
- Hydraulic and electrical testing equipment
- Exposure to extreme weather, high noise levels, and heavy machinery
- Work at heights
- Onshore and offshore rig environments
Key Responsibilities
- Support robotic pipe handling system operations during installation, commissioning, rig-up, drilling, and rig-down operations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on robotic equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues in real-time.
- Interface with rig crews and automation engineers to ensure optimal system performance.
- Monitor system diagnostics and telemetry for anomalies and performance metrics.
- Document maintenance activities, system performance, and incident reports.
- Train rig personnel on robotic system operation and safety protocols.
- Adhere to all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards and company policies.
