Eddy Current Assistants- Willing to Travel

Job Description

Mistras Group is now hiring dedicated Eddy Current Assistants that are willing to travel throughout the U.S. to cover projects, turnarounds, and call-out as needed.

• Willingness to travel.
• Perform a wide variety of tasks and respond to short notice work assignments.
• Assist technicians with setting up and tearing down equipment.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations, and overall upkeep of equipment and facilities.
• Assist with proper documentation and reports of services provided.
• Learn and abide by company policies and procedures.
• Adapt to an ever changing schedule.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Reading technical documents and engineering specifications is preferred.
• Following precise directions and procedures.
• Valid TWIC Card required.

• Field duties requiring outdoor work in a plant environment, with travel to multiple sites and to out of town.
• Working in plant or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
• Wearing safety equipment as required by the safety department.
• Frequently lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Clear speech, hearing, vision, manual dexterity, personal mobility for office duties and travel off-site.
• Ability to maneuver within refinery or plant environments, including accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
