Job Description
Mistras Group is now hiring dedicated Eddy Current Assistants that are willing to travel throughout the U.S. to cover projects, turnarounds, and call-out as needed.

Major Responsibilities / Activities- Willingness to travel.
- Perform a wide variety of tasks and respond to short notice work assignments.
- Assist technicians with setting up and tearing down equipment.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations, and overall upkeep of equipment and facilities.
- Assist with proper documentation and reports of services provided.
- Learn and abide by company policies and procedures.
- Adapt to an ever changing schedule.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Reading technical documents and engineering specifications is preferred.
- Following precise directions and procedures.
- Valid TWIC Card required.
- Field duties requiring outdoor work in a plant environment, with travel to multiple sites and to out of town.
- Working in plant or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
- Wearing safety equipment as required by the safety department.
- Frequently lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Clear speech, hearing, vision, manual dexterity, personal mobility for office duties and travel off-site.
- Ability to maneuver within refinery or plant environments, including accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
